Climbform Systems

Climbform Engineering can provide three different self climbing vertical formwork systems – Premium, Deluxe and Eco – to form lift and stair shafts on building and civil structures.

Bridge piers can also be accommodated. The Climbform Premium system is best suited to large highrise commercial building and bridge pier projects whilst the Climbform Deluxe system is better suited to smaller low to medium rise residential building projects. Both systems enable construction significantly ahead of floor construction.

The Climbform Eco system, a variation of the Deluxe system, utilises the same internal form and jacking system but has no external platform. External forms are supported off the internal platform and wall reinforcement is fixed off the deck formwork. This system is hence suitable for small projects where core construction significantly ahead of floor construction is not required.

COMMON FEATURES OF ALL SYSTEMS

  • Conventional formwork with plywood facing, vertical studs and horizontal wales. For small or circular shafts or where there is limited clearance to boundaries, slimline steel formwork can be provided
  • Self climbing formwork , not requiring crane assistance
  • Form heights ranging from 2.5m to 4.0m
  • Minimal adjustment of individual forms after initial setup
  • Variation of wall thickness over core height achieved by moving the external forms
  • Achievable vertical tolerance range of core exceeding code requirements;
  • Optional provision of removable hatch sections to enable emergency retrieval of personnel
  • Optional provision of hatches to enable installation of stair formers or precast stairs
