The 9 storey New Maitland hospital is located approximately 30km north west of the Newcastle CBD.
Our repeat business client, Oakdale Group, is constructing the towers for Multiplex Constructions.
One Premium system is being used to construct 4 No double lift shafts and 1 No stairwell. The complex core geometry required a 3D structural analysis.
Custom designed elements for this project included internal lift out emergency access hatches, external full height cladding panels and external top platform ladder access gates.
The external forms and platform weighed 70T and is being lifted by 6 No Climbrams.
Each of the 5 No internal platforms supporting the internal forms are being lifted by 2 No Climbrams.
The typical pour height for each system is 4.0m. The formed area/storey is 664m2.
A total of 9 pours will be required to complete the 5744m2 formed area.
