East End Stage 1 is located in the Newcastle CBD and comprises 5 No residential towers (Buildings A-D) varying in height from 5 to 14 storey.
Climbform Eco systems are being used on Buildings A,C & D which typically comprise 2 levels of basement carpark, a Ground floor retail level and apartments above.
Our repeat business client, Oakdale Group, is constructing the towers for Richard Crookes Constructions.
Five Eco systems are being used to construct 3 No double lift shafts, 1 No services room and 2 No stairwells.
The Building A Lifts A1 & A2 system forms a double lift shaft and walls to a services room and is lifted by 3 No Climbrams.
The Building A Stair A2 and Building D Stair D systems form stairwells and are lifted by 2 No Long Stroke jacks.
The Building C Lifts C1 & C2 and Building D Lift D systems form double lifts shafts and are lifted by 2 No Long stroke jacks.
The typical pour height for each system is 3.1m. A total of 66 pours will be required to complete the 7692m2 formed area.
